Anyone know the whereabouts of my ex horse - Stoney/Lucas River?

Hi All,

I'm trying to trace my horse that i sold back in 2000. She was a 16.1 Grey Irish Sports Horse, called Stoney and i sold her to a lady who kept her in Shavington, Nr Nantwich.

She would be around the age of 19 now and im desperately trying to trace her and how she has got on as she was a very nervous horse that had obviously been treated badly in the past, and it would be nice to hear that she has had a happy life!

All news whether it's good or bad is appreciated. I only sold her as was off to university and didnt have the time to spend with her.

There is a horse called Stoney River competes in our Riding Club dressage shows in Glasgow. Its a big grey, I'm not sure if its a mare or a gelding. The family that owns the horse are lovely so if it is your horse you need have no worries.

Thanks for the above, would be nice if that was her. This is a picture of when i had her....thought you might be able to say for definite if it is my Stoney.

I owned her ( I think she is the one) from 1996 to 1999 stable name Stones, show name Lucas River, 16h grey mare, steel points one white sock, roan in her tail?

I can't see the pic, if you can post it again? if it is her I would love to hear how she was after I sold her

I bought her from a dealer at Abram Hall in Wigan, in late 1999 i think, possible early 2000.

If it is her, what was she like when you had her? Was she nervous then? Why did you sell her?
