I've got '101 jumping exercises for horse and rider' and think it's a great book, I love lots of different ideas for youngsters and gymnastic exercises for the more advanced horses. I've now seen there are other variations - '101 schooling exercises' , '101 dressage exercises' and '101 exercises from top riders'. I event mostly but also do a lot of pure dressage and really enjoy this. Does anyone know if these books are good? I'm looking for something with lots of different exercises to make schooling sessions more interesting, even simply different ways I can use leg-yield for example other than just going from the 3/4 line to the track, but I have one horse training at medium level so I don't want something aimed completely at the novice - if you catch my drift?! Any thoughts would be great

The 101 schooling exercises are insansely fantastic.

Has seperate chapters for "problems" and links those to specific exercises too.

I have the jumping schooling and dressage ones so I would say I am a fan! They are very useful if I'm stuck for something to do in the school

The schooling and dressage books both cater for all levels of horse and rider and are both brilliant. I would say the dressage one probably contains more harder exercises but they both have a good range. I recommened you buy both
