I'd like to know too as she is near to me and she seems to have a few at good prices? But i keep asking myself if she is selling for say £3.5k what is she paying for them at sales??
Yes but dont forget, she has sourced the horse, then she has to make sure it is as described, all her time and she is trying to make a living! she is not doing it for a hobby im sure, she should be adding a bit on top!
not at all, horses are sent to sales for all sorts of reasons, ones that are not all they are made out to be and those that are sold to dissolve a partnership or due to bankruptcy etc. Many very good horses go thorugh the ring but really it is pot luck what you get, same risk is taken by the dealers and I suppose they must lose on some so have to make it up on others.
i spoke to her about 4 months ago when looking for a horse, unfortunately the horse that she had advertised was already sold but she was very nice and helpful and offered to show me any of the others she had, unfortunately they weren't what I was looking for so I didn't go but she seemed very experienced and nice on the phone if that helps
