New forest mare, be in her late teens now. Her reg name is Ashley's Amber Gem (Gemma). Chestnut, with a white blaze and four white socks. Originally came from Tain in Aberdeenshire. Sold on in Central Scotland 10yrs ago. Would like to know how she is. :) thanks in advance.

Have you tried asking Pony Club or Riding Club branches around Central Scotland ? Also, the breed society ?
Try asking too on facebook groups such as NF pony groups or local horse stuff "for sale" groups.
Do you have a photo from when you had her ? Seeing her might jog people's memories.
It's not a name I recognise here in the Edinburgh/Lothians area.
Good luck. x

Have you tried tracing equines? Or the new forest pony society? They may be able to help you. Good luck in your search x

Send a letter to the NF passporting address.
They can possibly forward a letter to the new owners but you have to bare in mind they may not want intrusion into thier lives.

My old pony Gemma was four white socks wonky blaze, was about 13.1, flaxen mane. She was about 13 when I got her - sold her on six years ago so she will be late teens freeze mark was ye64 or 63 - fab pony. Passport was a new one and not updated much. Her owners before the ones who sold her to me were from Bradford, no idea how long they had her for. I sold her to a super family in Northumberland she was a real first pony , bet she is still going strong lovely little thing so friendly and never ever met a horse more traffic proof than her :-) would love to know if she is ok

Thanks for the replies, I will contact the New Forest pony society. She went with her original passport, so hopefully they will have a record of sorts. I'm just interested to see how she is, she wasn't the easiest when I had her, nappy and opinionated! She was very pretty though!:).
