Anyone know what this could be?

Hi!
So I’ve just bought a 3yo warmblood colt from Holland. Real lovely lad. But I’ve noticed this hard lump/swelling on his left fore. He is 100% sound, no heat and isn’t bothered about about me poking and prodding it?

any ideas? (See pictures)

Difficult to know but I’d want it xrayed/scanned when the vets are doing routine stuff

Sorry, nowhere near where a windgall should be for me. Looks more like a sesamoid bone/ligament issue but difficult to tell from the photo. Possibly a knock from travelling?

He's young enough to get over it, hopefully.

Update!!

thank you everyone. I have had it x rayed and thank the Lord it’s just soft tissue! The vet thinks he has caught himself badly at some point but can’t see any issues with the fetlock it’s self! ?
