Horrified to find these in my horses mouth -

will be calling the vet first thing in the morning but if anyone can put my mind at rest in the mean time it would be much appreciated!

Bit hard to say for sure from photos but looks like maybe ulcers. Definitely worth checking out teeth etc tomorrow.

Probably ulcers but could be bot fly larvae damage, they embed in gums Ew! Hope the vet can sort it, it must be uncomfortable.

Feel awful, must be really sore. Could it be bot fly even though he has been wormed with equest paramox in the last month? makes me itchy just thinking about it!

No point worming for bots til after the first frosts coz they're still around and can just lay more eggs.

Vet confirmed they are ulcers. He said they are healing, not hurting him and are probably from him eating something in the hedge.

Its the 2nd time in as many months that i've called him out over nothing so i'm sure hes now convinced i am a paranoid worry wart but hey, at least i feel better!
