Hi I am trying to sell my horse and have him advertised on horsemart and also he goes in this magazine thursday. Just dont seem to have had that much response alot of the people who have called arent right for him and young kids coming off ponys.. Anyone interested have a look at his ad on horsemart ad ref HM723D29D

You need to re write your advert for that much money you need more detail. What is his breeding, what he has actually done at what level eg Prleim, Novice, aff/unaff, what has he won showing. Does he jump?

Put more detail in and you'll probably get a better response. Do you have any better photos? - I wouldn't have the head pic as your first picture as that is the one on the main page, the dressage one looks better.

I agree that you need to put more information in the advert really for the money you are wanting. Additionally a couple of the photos need changing. The Dreassage photo is ok but the head shot isn't too good, you must have a better one? The photo of him in the showing class is bit 'busy'. Take one of him standing nicely on his own, with a decent background so his conformation can be seen. Good Luck with the sale

I sold a similar chap for 4k a 18 months ago, and admittedly got my hands ripped off. However I am afraid to say 6k is too much for something that hasnt done alot? I may be wrong but I would have thought £5k would be nearer the mark, even with todays current trends for coloureds. Either that or send him to a comp yard for a few weeks to go and do some stuff?
