I'm always fascinated by the way other cultures have such ornate traditions of decorating their horses and wonder why, with the exception of heavy horses, modern English tack is so plain.

I think as tack and most horsey stuff is traditional - it wouldn't have been the done thing to be overly blingy, so it's all functional but plain.....
I'd love a Hungarian bridle for my Tank - or medieval stylee.....

I have to admit I actually love some of those! If I had a baroque type horse or something that could get away with wearing one, I'd totally get one! Well, at least I'd like to but the price is a bit high!
I love the look of some of them, especially on programs like Merlin with their interesting tack. Looks awesome!
