hi all

so i am having major issues trying to get brewers yeast from my area i have tried al tack shops in my area and nothing so have come up with going to a brewery.

so visited one today :):) no i promise the beer was safe lol!!! but i asked about brewers yeast now the guy asked what i was actually looking for he said there is the yeast that he chucks away which is brown sludgy stuff i have no idea.

so question is does anyone out there know what i should ask him for or am i way off base :confused:

just try your local health food shop like holland and barretts. Usually they do it in tablet form, but you can also get powder. Boots the chemist may also stock it.
 
Hi, I buy brewers yeast from Charnwood Milling. It comes in 25kg sacks, think it costs about £30. They are very quick with delivery. I use it for 4 horses and it lasts for ages. Their telephone no is: 01728 622300, think this works out cheaper than buying it in small bags.

I get mine from charnwood too thay are fab is £40 +p+p for 25 kg sack which lasts ages or if you phone them they very ocasionally have 5kg tubs for around £10 + p+p

I'm a stockist for Charnwood Feeds, and they are fantastic. I am also friends with some people who own a small brewery in Bury St Edmunds, and they have been giving away waste brewers yeast to equine neighbours/friends with no side effects yet.
