My 2 have been in for about the last month os due to so much unsettled weather and i@m not ready for them to be in every night all winter just yet! anyone else in the same boat and thinking of turning back out 24/7? My boy does feel the cold but he prefers it to the wind and rain so I can just wrap him up more!

mine were in fri and sat night but back out last night with rugs and a shelter and haylage. They will come in at night soon but I am trying to hold out as long as poss

As someone once said, only get them in if it is two of the following :

Very wet
Very cold
Very windy

I’m a great advocate of this. I got them in on Friday when it was very cold and windy but they are back out hopefully until about February. 🤞
This is a good one to go by! I decided to leave them out tonight as was such a lovely clear night just a bit chilly but not dropping below 0 here!

Mine were in on Friday night but back out 24/7 by Saturday afternoon once the farrier had been. I’m only bringing mine in if heavy rain and wind. They are still on Summer grazing! Can’t believe how much grass I have for this time of year!

Similar here, still in the summer/autumn grazing and I've never seen so much grass in it at this time of year! Winter field looking lovely & green too, usually move them over for Christmas. Just what we need now hay is going to be tight. Forgot to mention that I got another pony a week ago, keep the old girl company.

Yep! I have 2 1/2 round bales in my hay barn but hopefully won’t need to feed that until after Christmas unless we have snow!
