Anyone live in or around Egham/Runnymede/Staines (poss Richmond area)?

Was just wondering how "horsey" an area it was, many riding stables around? Egham in particular would be preferable but if there's places further away that are easy to get to then please mention those too

I know you can ride in Richmond park (Stag Lodge is one of the yards isn't it?) although not sure how easy it would be to get there via public transport?

Any info would be much appreciated

My horses are in Ascot and it's fab! We can get straight to Windsor Great Park with no road work. It's about 10 mins from Egham and a very horsey area.
 
Why not try chobham that has nice riding,once you have ridden around richmond park a couple of times it becomes quite boring,i thought stag lodge was a livery and dealing yard now ,though i may be wrong,you would have to go into kingston and then get a bus up to roehampton which would be the easier option
