I have just had a phone call about a dead horse in a field. It turns out that the land owner is not the horses owner, this one (6 month old coloured cob) has somehow got out and got stuck in a bog and died
There are others there but the workman that rang knows nothing about horrses so does not know if they are in good condtion or not.
The field where the dead foal is, is right at the side of a trail (Blackwell trail) and everyone using the trail can see this poor thing in the bog. Now who the hell do I report this to as last time I had dead horses reported the RSPCA said to late nothing we can do and we will not remove them!!! We as a council can not remove as the land is not ours and we are not sure if the land where it is belongs to the same person as on the other side of the trail!!! Grrrr there should be something that someone can do.
Ideas??
