As my mare is on loan as im meant to be having a break from riding - i'm getting more and more frustrated as times goes on lol. Just wondered if anyone in the Kent/Maidstone area wanted there horse schooled once/twice a week so I can keep my eye in soo to speak

Cant really afford or have time to get my mare back full time yet but could manage once/twice...

Anyone?

You're welcome - you seem to be very experienced and he is not an easy horse (as is a 5yr old Dutch WB only broken this year and too big for his boots at 17'1) so couldn't wouldn't shouldn't let just anyone ride him. It is a long way tho and would probably take an hour which is not fun esp in the winter!! Good luck looking x

ps why are you taking a break?

In case you didn't see other post

PS You can come ride Holly tonight or tomorrow night if you want? I have a friend who usually rides her but she's not down till the weekend now.

shame...my mare who's on loan to FinnMcoul was in Essex but they have now moved up to Oxford. Even then it was a bit far for me to see her....Thanks, not too bothered if nothing comes along, just thought it would be nice to get a ride in occasionally...

Having a break as we have just brought a house and with that and finances and lack of stabling in the area, kind of forced a break really!!! Just found out me and my mare have won our Riding Club dressage series tho, so thats good lol

Well actually you could probably ride Blue for me on a Mon and Tues evening as they are the days i can't make it down at the moment?

Have just clicked with decent walk and trot with Blue at the moment - canter is a long way coming to be dressage test standard though!

Can't say any days for definite for Holly as Emma is never sure when she will be there during the week!

He's 16hh. We're very close to Duckhurst?

So sorta 20/25mins drive from Maidstone town centre in rush hour (when i drive it

)... we have arena lights so doesn't matter what time you get there/leave either.

Oooh you can meet the babies too then!

Will be at Duckhurst for 2nd and (hopefully) 3rd classes on the Sunday and if not to be found at Duckhurst will direct you to the yard from there?

Ha ha ha yessss should be interesting

as it will be the first time we've been to a show since April! Hence the 2ft9 class, starting the indoor season nice and easy
