Hi,
I am offering free help in return for the practical experience it would give me. I would like to take my BHS stage 1 and 2 exams this summer and am looking for a bit of practical experience so I am fast and efficient.
I have been riding for about 14 years but have never owned my own horse. I helped out at a riding school when I was a teenager for about 5 years and again in the summer about 3 years ago. I would say I am competent in all the basics and really just want a bit of extra hands on practice.
I would be able to help for one day at the weekend (possibly two sometimes) and maybe a couple of evenings a week. I am not bothered if there isnt any riding.
I asked at the riding school that I go to but they looked at me funny and said it is normally only 14 year olds that help out at the weekends!!
