I have decided to post this after interest shown by ratters to the two people needing help with rat problems ( on here and in NL).
I am also a member on a hunting forum and as such have decided to act as an intermediary between the two forums to pass on information between the two.
Most people who offer their services with terriers and smoking equipment to help dispatch rats do so for free. Only had one reply so far from someone who has asked for some contribution towards costs incurred.
I am not advertising people's services and neither are these people employed as vermin eliminators. If Admin wish to clarify this with me please feel to do so. I have nothing to hide and no hidden agenda. I am just offering to act as an intermediary between the two forums. Some people may not know where to ask for help, or may be too shy, or don't want to pay for adverts in publications to ask for such help.
Also it means that anyone who wants to reply to people needing help does not have to keep signing up to here just to reply to someone, or to pm them. This way it saves time all round and if I can do something to help that will save people time and effort which may in fact have even put them off, then I will do so gladly.
By acting as an intermediary too it means that I can ask for contact details from the people on the other forum and will pm this information to anyone on here it is relevant to, ie appropriate area. This means that users of this forum don't have to pass on any personal information such as exact location or contact numbers in public and can contact the people offering to sort out the rat problems themselves if they so choose.
I hope this is ok to do this, if Admin are not satisfied can they please contact me for further information and details about the other forum if necessary.
I must stress though I am not advertising and I will not gain financially or otherwise from offering to do this.
My request is therefore to ask people if they have any rat infestations/problems to contact me via pm with their area. If you can be specific if the county you live in is large then that would help. I will then pm you details of anyone who has contacted me previously ( in relation to other thread on here, see ratting) if in your area or will request help with ratting in the area in which you are on the other forum and will pass on anyone's name and contact details which are given to me. The other forum is a hunting one.

but just to say that if anyone does have a problem with them or other types of vermin please get in touch with me as I have got a pretty good list of people up and down the country who can help to sort such problems out. Most are offering their services free too!
