Anyone need help?

Bit random but here goes :P I was wondering if anyone needs any help with their horses at all around Exeter? Not even necessarily riding, I would be quite happy mucking out or tack cleaning, anything to get me out and about! I'm at Uni at the moment, in my second year so I don't have a car which means I'm a bit limited in terms of how far I can travel. I've ridden/had horses for 16 years so I'm fairly competent.

Please PM me if you know of anyone or you're in need of some help yourself :)
 
Hi, I live in Exeter and my 3 are kept in Cullompton. I don't need any help with mine as none of them are ridden (one too old, one too small & one too young :o) and they live out 24/7 but are you ever out near Town and Country? There is a notice board in there where you could look or advertise what you're after :)

If I'm about in there or Mole Valley in cully then I will have a look and post on here if there is anything about.
 
Have you considered RDA? I've just started helping out at my local group. I had to demonstrate that I knew enough for them to trust me, but now I can pop up and ride/groom/shovel poo pretty much whenever I want.

It's also worth advertising on Preloved - that's how the RDA got in touch with me.
 
Thanks for all your replies and suggestions :) I've advertised in all the usual online places - I haven't been able to go to Town and Country to have a look but the bf is bringing his car down next term so I'll get him to drive me and put an ad up.

I help out with RDA at the moment but they don't need anyone to help with the horses as its at a riding school and they are looked after by the staff there so it's only a couple of hours a week really.
