hee hee!

anyone else going ...... im attually looking forward to it (not just the horse factor) but the fact ive never been to a racepone sale ...... just the market kind and mavlen preformance.

My friend was out hunting on the one she bought in Sept a really smashing looking 7yo. Was pretty good today bit excited and needed some more brakes but looks like he will be ready to be sold next year with some more work. He was a failed p2p who was broken at 5yo so pretty solid history.

Aslong as your confident, go for it, it is also worth phoning around your local training yards as they often have something which you can try.

thanks daisy chain..... i know of some going from a local p-p training yard my friend works at..... but they arent really interested in private sale as would rather see what they can get at the sales as they are already entered.

Well find out as much as you can, then go and bid on them! at least you might have some inside information... if there not fast enough, shouldnt think they will make much anyway.

I bought a lovely little TB 4 y o for 750 from ascot who turned out to be a real all round star, he'd hurdled and flat raced winning a few. It didn't take long to get him schooling in an outline and he was really careful so good showjumping. No one wanted him so it was me and his trainer bidding which was a shame as he is such a lovely character.

I'm going along too have never been b4-taking a friend with me who knows their stuff! Im looking for a horse to maybe do a couple of P2P on and eventually event. Any info on entered lots would be very much appreciated!!
