Anyone on here work for apple? or STUDENTs able to help?

As the title suggests,

Does anyone on here work for apple and know if you can get student discount on an ipad2 and if not.... would they be willing to help as I know they get staff discount.

I am buying it for my dad, after he got scammed out of £800 on ebay buying a macbook. He deserves it, just trying to get a discount as its a bit over my normal budget of a 21 yr old.

Did he not buy via paypal. No offence to your father but it is not wise to buy on Ebay without going through paypal :/
