We are on a marsh and it is clay - the field is still sodden and rain is predicted the rest of the week

But hopefully soon!!! Me and the horse are thoroughly bored of stables!

Todays the day that I've kicked the horses out 24/7. The grounds dried up remarkably well from the storm earlier in the week, so off they went into the summer field. After a run and a buck around they've settled down, scoffing the new grass.
I've actually had to put fly masks on today..

Anybody else out yet?

My mare has been out in the field 24/7 since 23rd December. She has been unrugged even though she is blanket clipped since 20th January after the vet said that sweating into her rug was giving her a skin condition.

Pony has been out 24/7 but is now naked during the day

Horses are out for a lot longer, and only in rainsheets. Will probably be the end of May before they are out 24/7.
