Anyone put flexiride down on stone

As advertised on their site, has anyone actually put the flexiride straight down on the stone base?
How does it ride? Any thoughts or cautions?

Thank you. Been doing a bit of reading up on surfaces and flexiride came up then was surprised to see on their page that it could be laid on top of the stone layer.
