Anyone recommend in the New Forest ....

Don't know much about it but I am fairly sure there is a lady who does carriage driving round the New Forest. Not sure if she has a website etc, maybe worth a search.

Ford Farm Stables in Brockenhurst springs to mind, but whereabouts are you planning on staying, there might be somewhere else that would do.

Brilliant well done :D:D:D .... I stayed there years ago, how great you reminded me, so will a go and try and find a website ..... thank you :):):)

This place...

You can go on endless hacks right in the heart of the forest, amongst all the wild ponies and their foals, Western or English style.

Couldnt recommend them highly enough!

Ohhh god I can't think of the name of the place - I went on a New Forest riding holiday for my 30th birthday, the place was fantastic and the rides were right into the heart of the forest - I rode a superb horse every day called Archie,

Just googled, it was Burley Manor .

Enjoy :D

Thats the place I posted about! They kind of interchange between burley manor/burley villa.

This yard has one of the best set-ups I have ever seen! Spotless yard, happy, healthy horses living in herd groups outside. One of the highlights of my western riding day was going to get the horses in, and opening the gate to find all these beautiful healthy horses waiting patiently to be caught - I rode the lovely Appaloosa, Spot! (orginal name, huh?).

Burley is a lovely area never ridden at the stables myself but i live just up the road and have to recomend the ice creams they sell on a little stall in the village Yum :) We often go there just for the ice cream and to see the donkeys who live on the common :D
