Taken off my boys back shoes as recommended by my farrier, but they are starting to chip a bit round the edges with this rock hard ground and want something to help harden his hooves in the long run. Hes not footy at all, but every little helps right?
I used to dress hooves with Cornucrescine, have done for years with my old mare, my boy on the other hand has good feet and the farrier always said when i asked about dressing 'dont fix it, if it aint broke! you may end up drying them up and then where would he be?' haha scared me enough not to touch them with even a drop of oil and not had any troubles lol but as he is now shoeless, he said he may benefit with something to help his feet along a bit.
Would you recommend Cornucrescine as a daily hoof dressing, or is there something out there a lot better?
also anything i could add to his diet? except biotin (he already has this in his vits )
