Anyone redoing their school/arena?

Hi,

does anyone have any ideas as to where people would advertise 2nd hand school surface, we are looking to build one, and do it properly BUT not spend more than necessary!

Anyone got any ideas?

We advertised ours on our local horsey area free classifieds site - was a bargain for the buyer, but they did have to arrange a contractor to collect etc. I know it sounds silly, but if you find any do go and have a look at it, and where it's dumped - at this time of year it may have been abandoned somewhere big bulkers aren't even going to be able to get to without getting stuck in the mud, and just check that you're getting what you're expecting to get (i.e. people's ideas of what chopped rubber looks like tend to differ).

Good luck! Our buyer got the sand and then the rubber for on top for a 20x40 for about a grand, plus whatever the haulage cost him. Considering my boss paid about £17k for the arena that replaced it, despite the ground already being level, fencing in place etc he definitely got a bargain!
