If so, can you tell me if I have to apply for permission to do so? If I do, where to I apply and are there restrictions on taking your lorry to beach car parks? Thanks all.

Hi,
You dont have to apply for permission to ride on beaches however the vast majority of beaches ban horses and dogs in the summer.

Your best bet is Conwy Morfa beach. You can park just fine there and it is ok to take horses on the beach

Talacre is an amazing beach but it gets busy. On Anglesey there is newbrough which is a forest hack with a beach too!

Yep Talacre is great - you can park a horse box in the car park just before the beach as long as it's quiet - not sure about not being able to ride come summer but it probably makes sense as it'd be too busy. Beware quick sand but it's pretty obvious and if you're moving fast enough you shouldn't have a problem!!

Have fun!

u can park at a place called bridlewood which is next door to prestatyn and ride to the beach down there bridlepath. there's no charge to park
