lol. I've just emailed them for some more information

I've decided in the last few days that i was definitely going to get a Wow (some day), even though i am still very taken with the Heather Moffett Fhoenix, as a Wow would suit me more (sorry Super_Kat

). But thought i'd have to wait a while as the Wow Competitors are £1,595 plus girth etc will come to about £2,000. But this is so much more affordable

Im not sure about the club as it doesnt have the flair as standard. It would probably cost about 400 to put the flair in, which I would need. I would save up for the competitor! You dont need to have the wow girth BTW.

i dont like the look of the club saddle personally.
i have the competitor which im asuming is the same as the saddles were before they introduced the club. i do not think that without the same features as the competitor you could say they would be wirth nearly £1000. i think they actually look abit cheap and nasty tbh!

however i do love my normal wow saddle!

Just had a nosey at these and spotted:-

"The panels are available in soft foam which can be can be changed for different shape horses by the use of shims or upgraded at extra cost to the Flair system"

This seems slightly odd to me... If you can change the panels to flair with no additional cost, then why wouldn't they just put flair in from the start? They developed the whole concept... flair is standard in their wow competitors so I dont quite get where they're coming from with this.

You lose the ability to change the seat and flaps by the looks of it, although tbh, if you're a one discipline person, I cant see this is a terrible loss.

The leather is obviously not quite the quality of the competition versions but they have to save the money somewhere.

I also think its extremely hard to tell much from pictures on a site.... much easier if you can see it in real life

If it was me? I'd probably try to beg / borrow / steal the extra £500 for the competition version but I appreciate thats not always possible. I'd definitly go for the flair rather than the other panel options. But surely they must be worth a look? The tree is the same as the competition version from what I can see and thats what provides the lateral movement which is meant to allow more freedom for the horse.

If anyone decides to have a look at them, let us know

Thanks for the comments.

I'd definitely have Flair, but as some of you say if it costs an extra £400 then there is no point in going for the Club, and go for the Competitor instead (which i would prefer to do TBTH).

the leather is supposed to be the same in both types but you never know.

I'm a one discipline rider, hacking, schooling and fun rides and if i ever compete it will only be unaffiliated, so i don't need the change of flaps etc.

Thanks for the comments though given me a few things to think about
