My vet mentioned today about clipping my cob out to stop her from over heating. Ive never really clipped this late before will it have any effect on her summer coat?

I clipped Seren about 3-4weeks ago for the first time this winter, had no electric at last rubbish yard. I will probably clip her right out later this month as she gets very uncomfortable and takes a while to shed, never been a problem with her summer coat personally. I have known of plenty of people who clip all year round :)

no it will not affect her summer coat at the mioment, though would recommend either a hunter or a full clip. part clips at this time of year could potentially mark the coat.
