Anyone thinking of getting a puppy?

Thought I would post this. As expected, there are various Christmas pups already in rescue. For anyone who loves EBT, there are EBT x in Old Windsor Battersea. Litter dumped on NYE. Whatever happened to "A dog is for life, not just Christmas..."

We have had FIVE litters up for rehoming this month It just never ends..

did the owners agree to neuter their dogs after handing you the litters???

Yes - we dont usually accept litters unless they agree to this, too easy to just go back home and churn out some more. We arrange and pay for it, otherwise it would probably never get done.

With these particular litters 4 out of 5 owners also signed over the bitch, it is christmas after all *sigh*

Those EBT x pups are just gorgeous! OH would kill me though. I've just depressed myself by looking at preloved, I don't know why I do it.

I do wish that if people are buying puppies and the sire and dam are KC registered but the pups are only going to be doglovers that they WOULD NOT BUY THEM!!

Question the reason why these pups will not be KC registered. Is the breeder over breeding, are the dogs endorsed and they have not been lifted (no excuse not to activity register!) is there a health issue?? Are the dogs STOLEN??!! Are they rescues that should not be bred from??

Today I have had to go through two very tricky cases where DL pups were brought and its a mess. Not worth the paper they are printed on.

So far this year, Hope Rescue have taken on a 13 week x-breed and an 8 week terrier - both Christmas presents - both families "cannot cope with them"!!!
