Anyone tow with a Disco 3?

Anyone one here tow with the Land Rover Disco 3 specifically the model with air suspension? If so did you have an adjustable tow bar fitted? Or are you using the 'fixed' tow bar?

Yeah we do and I think we just use the fixed one... They're great cars to tow with, really easy.

Is that the factory fitted detachable tow bar? What trailer do you pull with it?

yes it tows really easily. you can raise and lower the suspension for hitching up. we use the detatchable tow bar too. never had a problem. thanks

We had a disco3 - I LOVED IT! It was AMAZING to tow with - we had the removeable tow bar and the lowering rear suspension made hitching/unhitching a dream!

I've got a Disco 2 with the air suspension. I've just got a button that I press and the back on the car goes down to hitch a trailer, then you press it again and it goes back up

I am pretty sure that all Disco 3's will do the same. My tow bar is a fixed land rover one

Yep it is, and we tow a single Ifor williams resonably new trailer. It's good with doubles too though, I know someone who tows a double with it v. easily.
