Anyone tow with a Gas Conversion 4x4?

I've posted before about my search for cheap 4x4 to tow with and I have seen a few Gas Cov' and was wondering what they are like to tow with? I realise they are on a petrol so may be thirsty- but would be interested to know....

my mate tows with a cherokee jeep on gas. He swears by it.

We have had two towing vehicles converted to gas and had no problems. The first was an Isuzu Trooper that was fantastic, the only reason we had to replace it was some young toerag wrote it of by crashing his car in to the side of it after his car took of over a speed bump outside our house and the second was a frontera, this car was crap but that had nothing to do with the gas conversion!
