Straight forward question really. I'm happy & confident to tow up it, but knowing how steep it is, wondered if anyone had any experiences of coming down it! I'll be towing an Ifor 510 with a 16hh TB in it. Car is a Kia Sorento. Best towing machine EVER!!!

I would think you'd be ok wouldn't you? They tow caravans down don't they? I can't see taht it's be a problem as, as you said your vehicle is more than capable of the weight. I am not a fan of that hill though - I know of someone who's brakes lost pressure (horsebox) and failed when they were coming down there - not nice!!!

Aww, thanks peeps! Despite my trailer being pretty new and in perfect working order/serviced/blah, blah, I still have visions of it sailing past me carrying my precious cargo or me having to take the route into the sand stopping pit!! So, slow & low gear!! Got it!!

It cant be any worse than Bryngelli Terrace in the village i used to live it, the cars used to have to park sideways on that hill lol, we towed up & down there a few times. Just be sensible with your driving.

We did it a few times in the past. Car was a 20 year old Volvo estate, trailer was an Ifor Williams, horse was a friends rather chunky cob, no probs but as other have said, go steady!!!!
My husband used to go down that hill on his bike when he was as kid ( a VERY long time ago ), and absolutely loved going like stink!!!
