As title really.

Bit confused by Dressage Anywhere as for their class 3 u can do either Prelim 1 or 15. It says 'The highest percentage of the two tests wins'. So does that mean competitors from P1 r competing against those from P15 and visa versa?

Havent tried dressage anywhere but have tried interdressage! It was good. My friend did a couple of dressage tests on Tia when I wasnt riding due to back injury. Then in Dec I did the inhand showing class and won it :) I am going to do the dressage and showing every month from now on hopefully.

I dont have any transport so there is only one competition venue I can hack to and they dont have many comps each month.

I'm hoping to have a go for the first time this year too! Need to go do some research though!!!!! And find a dry spot in my field....... :)

I'd probably use Interdressage over Dressage Anywhere because DA seems a little stingey with rosettes. One thing I've noticed with Interdressage though is they seem to give mega scores.

Great idea. My yard (Bromson Hall - on the leaderboard for the mirrors competition) did it as a yard competition too so a lady bought rosettes and we paid her a little for that then based on the results from Interdressage whoever did the best would come 1st etc. Unfortunately the lady who organised that is moving to Scotland very soon so I doubt the rest of us will do that anymore but there is quite a few who still want to do the Interdressage. I find the hardest part is finding the time to bath my horse and plait her! All that preparation then its over in 5mins. You dont have to plait up though but my mare knows its an occasion when she's plaited I think.

I've tried both - interdressage are very generous with scores but give detailed feedback/recommendations. Downside is it's not BD tests.

Dressage anywhere - similarly generous with scores IMO - feedback not as detailed - more like a normal test judge. I got a nice rosette and £14 prize money.

I think they're both well run and a usual training method if you can't get out to competitions or have a youngster etc.
