I'm doing a charity challenge ride in a few weeks which will mean being in the saddle for up to 7 hours a day. I wondered if it would be worth investing in one of these. Do any of you guys have them and are they any good? Where did you get yours from? If anyone has got a second hand one lying around that you would like to sell me that would be great as I think they are quite pricey!

I borrowed one and I am now in love!! I really want to get one but the one's i've seen are quite expensive so might hold out until I can find it cheaper :-s

I know they are about £50 which is quite a lot. I suppose it's something I could keep using once I'm back though. So far the cheapest place I have found is Equestrian Clearance.

Yes I bought a sheepskin furry one and that was no where near as nice on the ole bottom!!

Wonderful things!

Dont be tempted to go for a cheaper non HM option, they are nowhere near as good.

Definatly! Theres nothing quite like them! I think they're even BD legal now as they're so discrete

I bought one when I got back in the saddle after having spinal surgery. Definitely worth buying as you'll continue to use it for everyday riding.

love it, had it 10 years and although gone a bit shiney still fine. Have a spare too which hasn't been used yet. I got it whilst working in a shop so I could get it cheap for when the old one broke - but the old one is still going!

My sis doesn't like riding in it though.

I don't use it when jumping as it tends to make the saddle a bit shallow but apart from that it feels odd without it. For 7 hours a day I would definitely recommend.

I got mine on equestrian clearance. The cheap ones aren't heather moffat.. I tried to get a second hand one off ebay and they are not much cheaper than brand new. so i didnt mind paying out for mine as I knew I would get my money back if I didnt like it.

I have one for my barefoot cheyenne - its a heath moffat one and I love it - so comfy - no danger of bottom chafing!
