Looking for more ways to slow my mare down. I'm using double small hole nets at the moment, but it isn't doing much good :/ and she is adept at lining up the holes!

I use a Shire's greedy feeder for one of the ponies, seems to slow him down a bit (he's an Exmoor, they have prehensile top lips lol). Certainly slows the bigger ones down more than him.

I had a large (black) Shires greedy feder last winter. In early summer it disappeared, then reappeared three weeks ago with two huge rips in it, too big to repair... hence me looking for a new solution. hacked off doesn't even come into it. The shires net was a Christmas gift last year!

Ebay seller has orange trickle nets sure they used to be made by marsnets, I bought two in the summer have slowed my boy right down and they are very strong. Wouldn't even consider buying anything else now they are definitely worth the money :)
My boy destroyed shires elimnet and various other nets in seconds but these don't even have one hole yet - MIRACLE!

If you're on Facebook look at Martsnets- they look quite good and Im tempted- really really small holes and all sorts of colours etc.

thanks for that :) In general the nets don't have to be indestructable as my mare is fairly gentle with them, using her lips rather than teeth. I'll take a look at Martsnets... though black is really quite sufficient for colour lol!
