If so, just wondering how they come up/if they fit well as I'm considering one for my high withered TB? Do you think a reflock would be necessary? (Also in CR)
Anyone use an ideal jessica on a high withered horse?

I did once try an Ideal ( not a jessica) on a high withered Tbx....it just didnt give enough clearance and I don't think a re-flock would have done the job. Jessica might be different though...they tend to be higher at the front anyway don't they?

when i saddles made to measure for my TB who has VERY high withers i got an albion kontact for jumping and an ideal jessica for dressage as these were what the saddle recommended. i didn't like the jessica very much myself though so now selling it!

Oh thanks DB and PM - that's actually really helpful.
I have an albion for jumping actually too DB and tried a K2 dressage the other day but it had been reflocked specifically for high wither and fitted very well. Really interesting about you not liking the actual saddle though DB, as I have heard such good things about them I thought I would definitely like them! Just goes to show, everyone's different so I will make sure I try one out before I go bowling in!!!

they are quite flat at the front... i need bigger knee rolls (especially on current super spooky horse!)

Hi I have a TB with ridiculously high withers. My saddler did mention ideal saddles were probably the only ones likely to have a chance of fitting him. In the end I took the safe (but expensive) option and had one made to measure. It cost just under a grand, but I think new ideal saddles are not far off that either? I do have to say I have one very happy, comfortable horse now, so was probably worth it
