Anyone use Bliss Bedding?

I use Bliss. You can get some that is treated with a certain 'smell' that puts them off eating it. I haven't used this one but my boy never eats it and he's a dustbin!

It's fairly absorbent. Like shavings really I think. I sort of deep litter mine, take out some wet and poos daily. I used a bag a week to top up daily. It can churn up and it took me a while to get it just right, if I leave my boy any later than 7am he starts to trash it so I'm up early :)
I like it, would prefer shavings but I'm not sure they would be any better as have only had my boy on bliss as yard doesn't have shavings on muck heap.

I've just bought 10 bales, never used it before but it's the only brand of that type bedding my local shop had.

Its just as absorbant as what I've used previously (Rapport and BedSoft Bio) and it smells of Eucalyptus. I haven't seen any of mine eat it.

Only thing I will say is that the bales seem smaller, but they are cheaper.

Yes,used it for a couple of years at least, now-changed onto it after Aubiose became ridiculously expensive.

Having tried lots of others (Bedmax,Littlemax,Snowflake,Laysoft, etc etc can't remember but loads!) Bliss is,IMO,next best thing to Aubiose.

I find it more absorbent than shavings and easier to muck out (the poo doesn't disappear into it and mulch in/get bedding stuck to it,like it seems to with shavings) and it's 'heavier' than shavings and doesn't move around so much. The wet sections are well contained,go solid and are easily removable.

We have the Bliss Basic and noone eats it (they all had an experimental first mouthful but nothing after-only one who tried to eat it was on 24hr pre-ulcer scope starve & had to be muzzled.)Tried the citronella one once (sposed to keep flies away-it didn't) and they all seemed to want to eat it-bizarre! (The basic one is coated with something anyway-it gets in your throat like hairspray when you put a new bale down...)

We semi deep litter and most have one new bale in a week (6 or 7 bales for initial bed) but the really messy, wet horses have an extra one in every couple of wks.

Long review, I know but after trying lots,I know what a pain in the proverbial it is when nothing suits like you want it to!
