Looking for a good all round supplement/forage balancer and this works out at 18p per horse per day so would be hard to beat and seems to have stood the test of time. Any feedback good or bad?
Daisy is a real locust but flatly refuses to eat benevit, it has a really oily smell to it and she just leaves it. I tend to stick to NAF general purpose or Equivit.
I've used it in the past and the horses ate it up with no problems and looked good. However, I don't feed it any more, and in fact don't feed a vit/min supplement at all, and they still look just as good! (However, they do get lots of turnout and good quality hay or haylage - in cases where these are not available then perhaps a vit/min supplement is a good precaution).
i am feeding it to my in foal mare at the moment and she is the most fuzzy eater you will ever meet she will not eat oral antibiotics or bute etc and have no problem with her eating it. i have seen the benifits from it she has alovely shinny coat good feet and her conditon in general is spot on would recommend it
I use it for both of mine as they are both very good doers. They're not fussy but they seem to love it - i just give it with a bit of Happy Hoof. They both look good, good coats etc. I got mine from Burghley where it was 50% off, so that worked out mega cheap!
I use it with happy hoof as they don't get the full amount. I've used it on several horses and none of them have not eaten it and that includes one who wouldn't eat bute or anti-b's without his dinner being damped down with apple juice.
I haven't noticed any changes but its only an all round supplement and i don't feel any better after my multi-vit
I use it on my older horse (19yo) - he eats it up no problem and is a fussy eater, I bought it at Burghley as he'd run out of NAF GP Supplement and it worked out cheaper. HE's loking great and his coat is shinier too
