I was thinking about changing my boys feed to mollichaff calmer, from what ive read about it seems really good. Does anyone use it? I was going to add a calmer supplement to his feed but then came across this and thought it might be worth the swop. He can be a bit nervy and I have found that with the lack of turnout we have at the moment he seemed worse.

Also how would I go about the changeover?
He currently has 2 round scoops of Hi Fi original and 1 scoop of spillers pony cubes a day split into two feeds. Thanks

I fed molliuchaff calmer to my nervous highly strung mare , when i work i added A&P ride and relax, she also had a hebral mare supplement added to help chill he rout from natural herbal supplies. i found this all to be very good she was intollerent to sugar lost her head so no haylage and no sugary feeds A&P do a lovely range hebal supplies give lots of information about thier supplements and theres plenty that will help take the edge of a nervy horse my mare was paticularly neurotic and helped loads

I feed it too my two year olds vet has said its a good basic feed I think its a complete feed too. I don't know if they are any calmer as I have always fed it but for babies they are quite well behaved so maybe. I just go by what my vet said and what works for the horses

Hi, yes I changed to it a couple of months ago after the Healthy Tummy blew his brains!.Found it was the best one as is highly strung but also just been treated for ulcers.Has put on good condition without being fat and is def quieter to ride.Mine does have Baileys No 14 Lo cal Balancer with it and when I spoke to them they said he should in time be able to come off that.:)
