Anyone use Nature diet??

Boris is about 16lb and jack russell, nearly 2 yo, he gets half a tray in the evenings on it own (he's very active and lean!) He also grazes Burns biscuits through the day.

When he was a puppy (i believe you have a puppy on the way am i correct?) started with 1/8ths 3x day with puppy mixer until he was about 6/7 months then it was 1/3 2 x day with mixer. Once he was 9 months old he was on adults as he stopped eating (bored of puppy food!). I also give oily fish on sundays with burns for his coat and he adores it! (today is the day

Boris loves the food he's on and it fits round our lifestyle.

Never heard of natures harvest....

I have used naturediet for a couple of years now, i have a GSD and a springer. they both have a pack each with 1 big scoop of chudleys. (bigger scoop for the GSd) my shep is very hard to keep weight on but this keeps him in good condition. I was using the sensitive as he gets furunculosis, (anal gland ulcers) but they have stopped making that one. ;( So I am on the chicken, fingers x'd it will be ok. Dont you think the original stinks though!

Another good one, but also with added glucosamine, is Natures Harvest, made by Berties. We sell more of this than the Nature Diet, and that's with the NH not having been on the market a year yet!

agree - both good. Naturediet have recently changed their recipe tho - so they better too.

I have fed naturediet or natures harvest with Laughing dog mixer (think might be bakersmill website now?) or apparently asda do a good plain mixer (check ingredients).

My lab has had one packet for dinner with a mug of LD mixer. But doesn't have it often.

I feed natures diet. My two mini Jack Russells go through a pack a day between them. They have terrible appetites and wont eat anything else we have given them - sometimes they wont eat this either - but the cats love it!!!

Yes, my girl normally has 1 pack per day (10mth old Chow, weighs 4st so I guess med-lrg). She does well on it (sensitive stomach) and seems to enjoy it, I don't mix it with anything.

I feed RAW - but the kennels I use don't or should I say won't! So I send her on her hols with Natures Harvest - its great stuff.

Lots of packaging tends to give OTT amounts to feed - I do my amounts based on eye - I know if she is getting too much or not enough and change her diet and exercise accordingly.
