Hi there,

was looking at getting my neddy a Rambo sweet itch hoody, but have seen the premier equine ones which look almost the same and wondered if anyone had used them?
where you pleased with it?
do they come up big/small/normal?
would they fit ok on a welsh?

she doesnt have sweet itch but gets very bothered by flies so thought I would invest in a decent rug for her.

thanks in advance! :D

I did this post the other day and had some quite good reviews but i havejust invested in the rambo one for my welsh today as like the idea of the waterproof sheet you can use with it aswell

Not used the sweet itch hoody but did buy the ordinary fly rug last summer. Got a 6' which Murph has always had, and in fact has a PE turnout in 6' which fits perfectly but the fly rug was far too tight across the chest. He is quite broad (ID x) but would bear this in mind if you do order from PE.

Strange I found the PE one fitted v chunky Pickle fine, got mine for think it was £35 as it was seconds they had some small fault (which I have never worked out) also bought in winter :p Do love mine though

I got a Premier sweet itch hoody for my man last year and it seemed to last through the summer without any major disasters, and he was kept out for a lot of that time.

It seemed to offer adequate cover for him and did the job.

I bought another for this year and it seemed to be a little bit tighter than the one I bought last year: he's a 6'3" and last years did seem to be a bit more roomy for some reason.

I've got a Pessoa sweet itch hoody (got it from Robinsons last autumn I think) and that's brill, a really good buy if you can get one, I would say better than the Premier Equine.

I bought a Pagony (which is the cheap version of the Boett) - awful, don't bother. The quality left a lot to be desired and horse managed to hitch himself up in the elastic strapping.

2 of mine are in the PE hoody- sound they fit ok- love the massive tail flap- but they are taking some hair off the shoulders so i am only using it on 'very fly-y' days rather than 24/7 like normal....
