Anyone use this bridle?

Interesting...

Not sure I like the 'do the throat lash up tight'. That seems like it is merely moving pressure from one point to another.

Plus, admittedly I didn't check, but do they only offer a flash version?

They offer a normal cavisson and also a 'dressage noseband'.

I saw that too about the throat lash and wasnt sure about it. Im not sure about the bridle atall really but just wondered what it was actually used for? Horse who dosnt like a head peice by its ears??

Never seen one however have to say that the horse doesn't look that happy in the 2nd pic about it all , but would like to hear what those that have used one think of it and why they are used.

Apparently they can be very usefull for headshaking horses. There was some research done that when the poll didnt have pressure on its helped relieve some symtoms, although ive not used a bridle like this.

I've never seen one before, and I have to say I don't particularly like the look of it. It's pretty ugly, and it looks so tight in the throatlash area which can't be comfortable surely??

Would be interested to hear if anyone does know anything about it ......

As i said before about the headshaling there has been research to show that it can help relieve some of the symptoms, although depends why a horse heasshakes, if its a pollen llergy obviously these bridles dont help. Jeffries do a slightly set back one, buts its alot more descrett, to be honest you wouldnt know the difference when the horse is moving nd its also paddes aver the poll. It does seem to help a horse at work, although doesnt cure it. But hes not got an allergy, his is bred through him as the stallion he was bred by has produced quite a few headshaking offspring. There was quite lot of research done about relieving the poll presure for headshaking horses but i having read it myself.
