Anyone used Equiaide?

My mare got a small cut during the very cold weather, and it didn't heal well. It has now sealed over, but I think there is a tiny bit of proud flesh there. I plan to leave it a few days in the hope that a proper scab will form - it's dry and she isn't noticing it at all. I had a look at proud flesh remedies on the internet, in case it does persist, and there seemed to be some very positive comments about Equiaide - does anyone have any experiences to share?

Making a paste with copper sulphate is an old remedy for getting rid of proud flesh. Dont even know if you can get copper sulphate crystals anymore.

I love Equaide, use it a lot. It really helps with healing (especially of cuts in awkward to dress places) and hair regrowth. I don't know how it would work on an old would that has already healed. Why don't you give them a call - they are very helpful with fab customer service when sending out orders.

Yes I have used Equiaide on proud flesh that my mare developed when she cut herself on wire, in two weeks new pink flesh was forming and the proud flesh has gone, brilliant stuff !!

Yes! Somebody on here recommended it for a wire wound and it was fab! I couldn't believe how quickly the proud flesh disappeared
