Anyone used myoplast?

Physio has recommended I use some to help horse build more top line and muscle up more before competition season. What are people's experiences? I don't know much about it except that it is expensive!! How much do you feeds day?

Is it worth the price? Especially compared to other protein builders .... I previously used muscle builder by rowen Barbary

Very expensive. It comes with a scoop inside. Its usually one scoop a day for a pony and 2 for a horse.
It helped my gelding maintain weight but not put it on. However he had many medical problems.

I was told it's used by dressage trainers to develop topline

I've not used it but there was a thread recently on the BD forum that generally was very positive.

bumping for more opinions!!! ive read all the old threads about it and still unsure! vaguely thinking of trying saracen equi jewel and seeing if it does the same thing (although it doesnt have the exact same amino acids). any more thoughts from anyone?

I looked at this and both my vet and physio were very against it. I ended up using a good general muscle/ligament supplement from Feedmark and the physio was impressed with the results of that.

I did wonder about using this, however i already feed equijewel and whilst goodish for weight gain cant say ive ever notice a muscle difference.
Ive also used the weight gain from Farnham-again cheaper than myloplast.
