Has anyone used the site 'medicines4pets.co.uk' to buy prescription drugs for their horse? I have just ordered some danilon from them but after the article in H&H last week want to check them out?

Thanks!

Hi, was thinking of ordering some medicines from this site as well could not find much about them on google, how did your order go, was every thing ok & legit and to your satisfaction...hope so.
Many thanks

I always steer well clear of online pharmacies, You never know whether you're getting the real thing or not. Can't remember what site it was now, but a friend of mine got some bute once and swore it was dodgy, didn't seem to work at all. I must confess, I'd rather trust and support my vet who went to all the trouble of diagnosing my horse and putting all the work in, than save a couple of quid and take the risk.

I've ordered danilon from petdrugsonline.co.uk so far no probs.

I use these people too for non-prescription stuff like wormers, dog toothpaste, joint supplements. They always provide a very quick service.

I use my vet for prescription stuff as its less embarrassing than asking him for a prescription to take elsewhere. To be fair, when i did tell him I was able to get the dog's prescription medicine cheaper elsewhere (dog will be on it for the rest of his life) the vet cut me a deal and does the stuff at a reduced rate for me - might be worth asking your vet??

Can't quote on my phone, gggrrr! But CazD I was too embarrassed to ask too, so my OH did it for me :-) they charged 3 quid which is nothing compared to the saving you make but they were fine about it. They must get asked a lot these days
