As title really. This is the same drug as 'bute.
My 29yr old will not eat Danilon, and up til now I have been bribing her with a syrup or treacle sandwich for her nightly dose of bute (she has fractured her pedal bone, so just to keep her comfy).
Now she won't eat the sandwich. I can't put it in her food, as she refuses to eat it, and then it will put her off her food altogether for days. Syringing it into her is too stressful for her (also cushingiod) and the bute paste is prohibitively expensive.
She will take her pergolide in a bit of bread, along with ranitidine, so I was wondering if I would give her bute tablets the same way. She would need 5 x 200mg for the dose, but I think that would be ok.
Has anyone else used them?
