Hes a lovely boy indeed. Ive watched his progress since his owner [shes a friend] was showing him as a youngster Definitely one to watch, looks, manners and talent, throws amazing foals and now climbing up the SJ and dressage ladders! Go Spider!!
Thank you for the kind comments.
I own Amour G and can confirm he is a lovely, sweet natured boy.
I am proud to say that everyone that has come to view him at home has fallen in love with him and have booked their mares on the spot. Several mare owners have been so pleased with their foals that they have rebooked the following year.
Competition wise he has now won 9 of his 10 starts at BD dressage, 2nd in the other, at Open Novice and Elementary with scores regularly +70%. We recently had a lesson with an international Grand prix trainer who confirmed that Amour G had all the qualities to reach Grand Prix.
He is also jumping 1.20m at home and just starting at Newcomers.
Anyone is welcome to visit him at home and also to meet the two yearlings I have here, who, like their father, both have lovely friendly natures.
Afaik every youngster of his has inherited his bold and friendly personality. The only negativety I have ever heard is from someone who has totally overhandled their foal and consequently made a fool of it so that can be a bit disrespectful at times. Completely a man made problem but it saddens me to realise that when seen out and about it is likely to be my stallion that gets the blame.
I cannot be any more open and honest than that and am happy to answer any questions put to me in the same manner.
jesstickle, I'm sorry you're not a fan but not every horse will suit every person.
I think Amour G looks and sounds wonderful, and I am seriously considering him for my mare in 2012.
I look forward to meeting him and hopefully seeing him in action at a show if he comes closer to my home of Lincoln.
