I am fed up of cold feet and uncomfortable wellies which means I am constantly changing boots between my Ariat yard boots and wellies when I need to. I have started wearing my Dubarry boots all the time, will they survive?

Not Dubarry but I wear ariat as wellies. I have the h2o derwent and they lasted over 2 years been worn night and day in mud mud and more mud. I too hated wellies and found them uncomfortable to walk in for any length of time. I have however just been treated to a pair of aigle parcours iso wellies and I have to say walking in them for hours is a dream. The sole is just amazing for long amounts of time on your feet. I jumped up and down in them for ages when I first got them as they have an airy spring to then and are comfy if you wanted something g that offers the protection and easy cleaning of wellies but are comfy I'd highly recommend them and my feet haven't been cold.

Mine are four years old now and I use them as Wellies .
They have held up well .
I hose them every day and they dry in a warm not hot place and twice a week I wash them properly with warm water and a little fairy liquid let them dry overnight then apply lots of the thick dubarry leather creme and give the legs a spray .
They are just getting tired .

I use my dubarrys as wellies. I don't look after them as well as Goldenstar does though! They are very comfortable and despite my poor treatment of them they are still - mostly - waterproof!

Ive been using my cheap as chips Northern Boot Company boots for a good year in the deepest mud, wettest puddles and general bashery. They get a good 4 -6 hours wear a day and they are still looking like bloody new. I'm so impressed with them that when they finally do go to boot heaven i will not hesitate to buy another pair if i find any on eBay etc. .

I have the same boots and they are fab!! Worn all day every day and not a crease in sight on them. Best £80 I've spent on boots

I got mine for £50 cause they were second hand (brand new, didn't fit seller who got them for £80) and i would happily have spent the extra £30 on them.

Bargain! I've gone through umpteen pairs of expensive boots that have only lasted 6-12 months so I refuse to spend the money now

My left Dubarry its about as waterproof as an open-toed sandal. Not impressed

Send it back .
The soles on my first pair failed I took them back to the shop they had over a year of use .
The shopkeeper returned them to dubarry within three day he rang me to say he had recieved a credit note so I could come in for another pair .

I use my Ariat grasmeres like wellies and they are 4 years old and still going strong. For actual wellies I have gum leaf neoprene lined wellies that are extremely warm and comfy!

I loved my last Durbarrys which I had 10 years and wore them to death for everything from riding at home to walking the dog to mucking out. And to be honest I didnt clean them very often. They lasted extremely well, the only reason I recently had to replace them with new ones was because the soles eventually split and where coming away from the boot itself. Chose Dubarry's again because yes they are expensive but if they last as long as my last ones then they're worth it.

I have used my Shires Charlberry boots as wellies for coming up to 5 years and never had a complaint about them. Never washed them (bar hosing them whilst they're on my feet), never treated them, kept them in cold and hot places and stabbed them with many a pitchfork. Would definitely recommend.
