Shires Hi-Lite GP adjustable saddle or Rhinegold saddle?

I'm lookin for a cheap saddle for jumping (which I don't do very often) - I'd prefer to try and get hold of a second hand Thorowgood but they are few and far between just now.

Noticed these 2 makes on Ebay but not heard anything about them - does anyone have one?

I've already got a SC WH saddle which so far I've had lots of fitting problems with (that fingers crossed I've not got sorted) but for this reason I probably wouldn't buy another.

ChristmasFairy - what size of saddle do you have? I'm looking for a 17' Medium/Wide Cob.

I have the hi-lite one for my pony as she has a table top for a back and it changes quite a bit through the seasons. I decided that the 'adjusting' saddle would be the best one to go for. I dont think I would ride my horse in one though. (The pony doesnt do much work!!!!!!)

I have the shires hi-lite with the self adjusting gullet and i dont find it the most comfy of saddles but out of the 7 saddles we have owned plus many others the saddler and i have tried on him its the only one that fits and he changes shape quite alot as hes young so its very useful. I have never had a rhinegold but did have a leather gallop and hated it!
