Its not one Ive come across. I would phone the supplier and ask them to give you a run down on the quantities of the ingredients and then make a comparison.

I tried a heavily advertised and hyped joint product last year that claimed to be better than the products you have been using....it was useless dispite the assurance of the manufacturer it did absolutely nothing for my horse at all.

I've been using it on my mare for the past 2 months. Haven't seen any difference TBH but she is only in walk work recovering from a tendon injury. Am running out and have just ordered ExtraFlex from Feedmark to see what its like. I tried Cortaflexx too but didn't think it did anything either.

My friend has been using it now for a couple of months and I have just ordered some.
She has used it as a general joint supplement and not for any specific problem if you know what i mean.
We also been using the High Performance Vit supplement for a few months now and think its really good!

I use cortavet liquid, its like cortaflex but you get it throu the vet because its stronger, it slightly more expensive than cortflex but you use half the quanity and therefore works out cheaper in the long run, my golden oldies swear by it.

I have used it for a number of years now and have found it to be the best one on the market for my needs - a friend uses it on her very eldery horse with amazing results.

Would be interested to see how you find it. I started feeding Cairo Instant Linseed back in September, he had also been on cortaflex for a long time. Have notice a very big improvement in his movement and general well being.

When I raised this with Simple Systems, they told me that a lot of people use linseed for joints and have often stopped using the more expensive supplements.

Thats intersting as I am using a minimum amount of Instant Linseed at the moment alongside a joint supplement. I suspect if I costed it out it would be cheaper to cut out the supplement and up the Instant Linseed.

Something to ponder this evening I think.

I knew someone who used cortaflex and then switched to Gold Label Gloucosamine as it was a lot cheaper and her horse went lame again within a week so she switched back and all is now good, could've been a coincidence but I wonder if cortaflex is expensive because it is so good? I have used it for years and swear by it.

I use it and think its fantastic and very economical too!
I use it specifically on one horse as she used to be continually puffy round the ankles (LOL)
The difference is unbelievable and even if she stands in now she is grand!

I've been using this for over a year on my horse with ringbone but tbh it hasn't made any difference and I have just changed to Joint Aid. The only thing that makes a difference to my horse is the weather - much better in the summer!

Certainly wouldn't hurt to try increasing the linseed. Cairo has total eclipse which already has linseed and I then give him more on top.

What I noticed is that the joint supplement in the OP contains linseed.

Lovely coat too.

As my boys only have low cal fibre food, I don't have to worry about the extra condition from the linseed - and they have not put on any weight since having it.

I use cortaflex - is is exspensive but you only use a tiny amount, I use two pots per year. I am thinking about tailing it off when this pot runs out to see if she still needs it. I think a lot of peole give supplements and carry on even when they are not needed. I was interested to hear about the linseed. I use Simple Systems total eclipse - perhaps the linseed alone will be enough.
