I'm looking to get a drytex barefoot cheyenne and have seen that these two places sell the saddle just wondering if anyone had any experience of buying from them? I think they are the same company.

I emailed them the other day with a query but no reply, but I can't find anywhere else to buy the saddle. thanks

never bought from them but i made an enquiry once by phone and found the woman useless, she could not answer any of my questions but just seemed to be answering from a fact sheet, i bought through Barefoot Belgium ,they were great, www.barefoot-saddles.com
this probably doesn't help you as i am in France but i have ridden in the drytex Cheyenne and it's a really nice saddle!
just a thought....in euro's its 349, with the exchange rate as it is , that makes the saddle £253
i think i'm doing that right and not being a thicky??!!!
they also sell them on German ebay
xx

mightymammoth I really loved my Barefoot Cheyenne in Drytex BUT it didn't wear very well.. Granted I ride endurance so I do a lot of kms but I have had to have it patched on both saddle flaps after only 2 years. This is despite always using sheepskin stirrup leather covers.

Yip I bought my cherokee of horse and harmony. Took 6month to get the saddle as they only buy in to order. Very slow to reply to emails as well, but the saddle did turn up in perfect condition so there perfectly ok. Just poor customer service.

I have also tried to contact them as I was interested in a barefoot saddle. It must have been two or three weeks now. Nothing. I contacted Barefoot in Belgium (I think it is in Belgium ) and they responded the same day. The saddle I am interested in is the Cherokee and they told me it would be about six weeks for delivery.

I got my first barefoot second hand on eBay years ago and its still going so when I wanted a sparkly new one for the kids, I contacted h&h too. Took a few days for reply to be told the plain brown kids model is made to order from manufacturer etc and would take 6 to 12 weeks. Found her quite helpful but in the end I ordered direct from barefoot as it was cheaper due to exchange rate at time and I was able to make some changes to saddle. Next time I buy another barefoot I am getting the my barefoot option so I can have a funky red saddle lol!
