Not that the folks would ACTUALLY give her up LOL just theatening her at the mo.
Went for dinner at folks and first thing Pops says 'Take that ruddy dog back'. Milly decided that at 4.30am she needed a doodle. Instead of opening back door and letting her doodle daft sod got up and took her for a walk!!
Back home by 5.15am Pops goes back to bed, Milly goes back to bed. (In their bedroom
Now, usually Milly and Pops get up at 6am on a Sunday for their 'BIG' walk. They go out at about 6.30-7ish and don't come back till 12. Milly hadn't forgotten this so 45mins after the end of her last walk, she jumps into bed to wake him up for her real walk.
Daft sod (Pops) dutifully gets up and takes her out again!
He then spends the rest of the day complaining and moaning that even having 3 children was less work and less broken nights sleep. This dog is truly spoiled. It is so funny to watch her and Pops together.
On another note....while walking her yesterday a chap with 2 Spangles told Pops she was a corker and offered cold hard cash for her!!!
Needless to say Pops told him to do one.
So a big thank you to Millyspaniel for letting us have this wonderful dog! It has given my dad a new lease of life! (Won't go into too much detail but several members of his family died due to heart problems and he was worried and then lost his job and was a bit depressed blah blah-stiff upper lip lark.....now a changed person-happy again and bouncy! )
